Lord Jim is a 1938 Trimmership built in Seattle, Washington by Michael Shain. During the almost 70 years of the yacht's existence, it has been used primarily as a pleasure vessel. The past 30 years she has been owned by the Williams family, one of the old Miami families with strong ties to the local marine industry.
The Williams came to own the boat after it had been salvaged from the waters off of Miami. She has been lovingly restored to her original beauty and grace by Jim Williams, who inherited the yacht from his father.
Mr. Williams envisioned the yacht as "a unique opportunity for guests to experience the bygone era of the 1930's, while enjoying Miami from the water. Lord Jim is a showpiece of maritime craftmanship, complete with modern luxuries and conveniences to make your charter aboard Lord Jim an unforgettable memory."
